ABOUT WBONG

In early 2022, The Villages Women Business Owners Networking Group (WBONG) sprouted out of our sister group, Villages Working Women's Social Group (VWWSG). VWWSG is strictly a social lifestyle club for Villages’ working women. In addition to socializing, some members wanted a business networking group to help them grow their businesses.  Carolyn Christensen and Phyllis McElveen created a new group specifically for women business owners.

WBONG provides many opportunities to grow our business to the level we want.  By engaging with fellow women business owners, we learn about each other’s products and services as well as support each other’s professional growth and business skills. We learn what are each other’s best referrals and ideal customers as well support individual social media pages and posts.

Our typical monthly meetings host speakers and interactive discussions that provide members a safe space to learn how to present their business, ask for help with things they may not have the expertise, and create business relationships and friendships.  We also have fun!  Our quarterly social gatherings provide an experience to enjoy members on a personal level.
